What sporting events are broadcast on Sky Sports?
Sky Sports is the home of Premier League football. Other major sporting events shown on Sky Sports Main Event include Formula 1 (racing and qualifying), Scottish Premiership, Super League, all nine Golf majors, boxing, cricket, Rugby Leave and the US Open tennis championships.
What’s the cheapest way to get Sky Sports with broadband?
At the time of writing, the cheapest way to get Sky Sports alongside a broadband deal is to sign up to a NOW Super Fibre Broadband, with separate NOW TV Sky Sports 6-month Saver Membership.

Genie's handy hack is to ignore your NOW broadband checkout add-on options, go for a 'broadband only' deal, and sign up to NOW TV separately. It works out cheaper!
You could then sign up to a standalone NOW TV 6-month Saver Membership for £26 per month (6-month minimum term). This also gives you the flexibility to cancel during quieter sport months.
NOW Broadband also has rolling monthly or 12-month contracts, which means you’re less likely to get stung and stuck with mid-contract price rises.

Cheapest Sky Broadband and Sky Sports Deals
Sign up to any Sky fibre or full fibre broadband deal, and you can add Sky Stream Entertainment & Netflix deal during the checkout stage.
You’ll then have to add Sky Sports in as an additional Sky TV package on top of this. This is currently priced at an extra £20 for the duration of the contract, or, if you’d rather not commit long-term, a 31-day rolling deal will cost you £27 per month.
What’s the cheapest way to get Sky Broadband with Sky Sports?
The cheapest option is to go for Sky Superfast (61Mb) with a Sky Entertainment and Netflix + Sky Sports add-on.
Expect to pay around £58 a month for this (although you’ll likely get a price increase each Spring). Additional set-up fees come and go, but you can often get a Sky broadband deal with no upfront cost.
You’ll be free to add a TV subscription onto any Sky broadband package, but bear in mind, the faster you go, the more expensive the base deal will be.

Do I have to have a satellite dish installed to watch Sky Sports with Sky?
Sky Stream subscriptions don’t require a satellite dish. Signing up for a Sky Glass Smart TV is another way to access Sky content without needed any external installations.
With a Sky TV package subscription, you always get access to the Sky Go App (even before installation, so you can watch Sky Sports on your phone, tablet, laptop, computer or Apple TV device.
Cheapest TalkTalk and Sky Sports Deals
Sign up to any TalkTalk fibre package and on checkout you can add a NOW membership with TalkTalk TV. The Sky Sports NOW pass will set you back an additional £34.99 per month.
An additional HD boost is included, allowing you to watch ad-free in full HD on up to three devices at the same time.
What’s the cheapest way to get TalkTalk Broadband with Sky Sports?
On top of your broadband package and NOW Membership, you’ll need to pay an additional fee for a TalkTalk TV Hub (£5 per month). Also expect to pay a set-up fee.
Because of the flexibility of NOW Sports, you’ll end up paying quite a bit more than a package deal from Sky.
The cheapest we found it was for TalkTalk Fibre 65 on a 24 month contract, with a total price of £67.99 per month. However, for this, you’d be free to cancel or swap to a different NOW TV pass at any time. Entertainment and Cinema passes are significantly cheaper.

Cheapest Virgin Media and Sky Sports Deals
A Sky Sports subscription can be added on to any standalone broadband package from Virgin Media. As standard, this will give you 8 premium sports channels in HD, along with access to the Sky Sports app.
The Sky Sports subscription is set at £34.99 per month as standard, or you can upgrade to Sky Sports UHD for another £7 per month.

What’s the cheapest way to get Virgin Media with Sky Sports?
If you’re keen to have access to all of the Sky Sport channels (not just Sky Sports Racing), we’d recommend the Bigger Combo Bundle + Sports. But be prepared to fork out - this is pricey at £71 per month on an 18-month contract. But for this, you’ll also get a fast connection with an average download speed of 362Mb.
At the top end, the Virgin Mega Volt Bundle with Gigafast download speeds of 1.1Gb will cost you £84.99 per month.

Cheapest BT and Sky Sports Deals
BT is unique in that it offers a dedicated EE TV Sports packages to its entry-level fibre deal. You’ll need to opt for ‘Big Sport’ rather than ‘Sport’ (which doesn’t include Sky Sports) on checkout.
With this, you’ll get access to all 12 Sky Sports channels through Sky Sports, as well as all four TNT Sports (previously known as ‘BT Sport’ channels, Eurosport 1 and 2 and 400+ live football games, including Premier League.
What’s the cheapest way to get BT with Sky Sports?
Again, this works out pretty expensive. Expect to pay from around £78.99 per month, plus setup fees for access to Sky Sports with a basic fibre deal. For faster full fibre packages, you’d be paying around £104.99 per month, including set-up fees.

Can I watch Sky Sports without a contract?
There are plenty of ways you can get access to all Sky Sports channels without tying yourself into a lengthy contract.
Adding a standalone Sky Sports TV deal on top of a broadband only package gives you much more choice to research the best broadband providers in your area.
Of course, might not get all the bells and whistles of a fancy set-top box without a bundle deal, but there are a few ways to stream Sky Sports to your TV, so you’re not sat in front of your laptop.

Switching broadband providers for a better Sky Sports deal
If you’re currently signed up to a broadband and TV package, and already have access to Sky Sports, there’s a chance you could be paying over the odds for your deal.
